Florist
Novapetal is a floral design house on East 72nd Street, inspired by art, architecture and the energy of the city. We’re looking for an experienced, creative florist who loves a natural, European, garden-inspired style to design with us in our studio.
What you’ll do
- Design our daily arrangements, hand-tied bouquets, flower boxes and Designer’s Choice pieces
- Build wedding and event florals together with the team
- Check every order before it leaves the studio and keep our same-day deliveries on time
- Unpack and condition flower deliveries, and keep the cooler and the bench in order
- Welcome walk-in clients and help them choose
Who you are
- 1+ year as a professional florist (portfolio required)
- A strong eye for color and composition, and a love for loose, natural designs
- Fast, accurate and calm on the busiest days
- Available weekends, plus extra days around Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day
- Fluent English, authorized to work in the United States
