Novapetal is a family-owned floral studio rooted on New York’s Upper East Side. Founded in 2021, our studio brings together floral artists with more than 65 years of combined experience across European and American floral traditions — from a senior designer approaching three decades at the bench to florists in their first years.
We hire artists, not assemblers. Every arrangement is designed by hand, with its own balance, movement and character — which is why no two Novapetal arrangements are exactly alike.
Our name comes from nova — Latin for “new,” and the name given to a star that suddenly shines with new brilliance. It reflects the idea Novapetal was founded on: bringing a new point of view to an old craft.

Statement pieces for events and large gifts run from $300 to over $1,000. The minimum for delivery is $85, and delivery is calculated at checkout by destination.
Three things separate a luxury arrangement from a supermarket bouquet: the grade of the stems, the number of them, and who arranges them. We buy AAA-graded roses and premium orchids, build every arrangement by hand in our Upper East Side studio, and photograph the finished piece so you approve it before it leaves. If the flowers are not what you expected, tell us the same day and we will replace or refund.
Yes — it is what we are known for. We work with American growers and private farms, and with growers in Holland, Japan, Ecuador and Kenya, rather than buying from a single local wholesaler, so we keep stems most New York shops do not: anthurium, protea, ranunculus and anemones, plus peonies year-round rather than only during their short season, dahlias in season, premium orchids and garden roses. Tulips arrive fresh from California and Holland. For a specific flower or a colour palette you have in mind, tell us in the order notes or call 212-216-0900 and our designers will source it for a custom arrangement.
Five to seven days for most arrangements, kept in a cool room away from direct sun, heat and ripening fruit. Orchids and dried elements hold considerably longer. Roses and hydrangea last longest with fresh water every two days and a diagonal trim off the stems. Any florist promising two weeks from fresh-cut blooms is overselling.
