Do you offer same-day delivery?
Yes. We are open seven days a week, Sunday included, and the same cut-off applies every day. Order by 3 PM Eastern and same-day delivery is guaranteed. This covers all five boroughs, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island, as well as Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. After 3 PM we will still try. Our team looks at the day's route and tells you straight away whether we can get your flowers there the same day. If we cannot, you choose: we deliver the next day, or we cancel the order.
Do you deliver on Sunday?
Yes. Sunday is a normal delivery day for us and the same 3 PM cut-off applies. Order by 3 PM Eastern and your flowers go out that day, with delivery between 9 AM and 8 PM.
Are arrangements hand-delivered to the recipient?
Yes. Every arrangement is hand-delivered with care. Our priority is to place your flowers directly into the recipient’s hands. If a doorman is present, deliveries are left with them. If there is not one, our team will do everything possible to access the building and leave your flowers safely at the recipient’s door or in a secure location.
If no safe location is available, we contact you and the recipient by call and text. If we still cannot complete the delivery, the order returns to our shop, and you can either schedule a re-delivery for a small fee, which covers sending a driver again, or pick your flowers up at the shop at no extra charge. This keeps the flowers fresh and our team fairly paid for the extra trip. For added peace of mind, we provide photo confirmation of every delivery.
What are your delivery fees?
The delivery fee depends on how far we drive and is calculated at checkout before you pay. There is no flat rate: you see the exact amount once your address is entered. If your address is outside the area we drive to, checkout will not offer a delivery option. Write to us and we will tell you what we can do.
Is there a minimum for delivery?
Yes, the delivery minimum is $85.
When will my flowers arrive?
You select a time frame during checkout and we make sure your flowers arrive within it. Deliveries run daily between 9 AM and 8 PM, with timing adjusted for traffic and routes.
Will I be notified when my flowers are delivered?
Yes. You receive an email confirmation as soon as your order has been delivered, complete with photo proof.
What is your replacement policy for flowers?
If your flowers arrive damaged or below standard, we replace them at no cost. Notify us within 24 hours by emailing orders@novapetal.com or calling or texting 212-216-0900 with your order number and photos. After 3 days we are unable to issue replacements, credits or discounts.
What is your replacement policy for orchids and plants?
If your plant or orchid arrives damaged or does not meet expectations, contact us by email at orders@novapetal.com or by calling or texting 212-216-0900 within 14 days so we can make it right. After 14 days replacements are not available.
Weather and natural events
In rare cases deliveries may be delayed by snowstorms, flooding or other events that affect road safety in New York City. We will always tell you about a delay and reschedule at the earliest safe opportunity, and we add a $20 store credit to the order for the inconvenience.
